Engine shut down, IPR need to be replaced?

Just got done rebuilding my powerstroke and ran great for 27.5 miles. Was at stop sign and it shut off just like you turned the key off. Had great oil pressure before it shut off.

Got it back to the shop and pulled the inspection plug on the Hpop and it was mt. Filled with oil and it started and ran for about 5 sec. IPR needs to be replaced is what I'm thinking but just want to make sure...

Sounds like the Low Pressure Oil pump has quit....

Lpop was brand new with the rebuild. how many psi should I have when cranking? I could put gauge in pressure sending unit and check that right.

I should add, while cranking motor over the pressure gauge does move up just a bit.
