13 Flat With Manual And 40 Inchers
How rare would an '03 7.3 liter running 13.00 in the quarter be? With 40 inchers and a manual?
What would that take, 700 HP? 800 HP? |
no it would take some really good shifting, and yes probably 700 ish HP
|
How hard is it to make 700~ish horsepower??
|
in a stroker pretty hard without the Spray, you'd have to ask some guys that know more about the PS then me, but i would assume it would take some time and $$$$$.
|
dual hpops, and enough nitrous to propel a rocket ship :cp:

You could prolly buy a 2nd gen 24v or 12 valve dodge in good condition and bomb it pretty good for the amount of money your gonna spend making it that fast with that big of a tire. Good custom burn chip $400-$500 Dual HPOP $2000-$3000 Big Injectors $2000-$4500 Turbo or turbo's $2000-$4000 Built engine to hold the power $?....the list goes on. Hard to get a lot of power out of PSD's :argh:
|
You know you could have bought Danny Elmore's truck a few months ago (although it was an auto it went mid 12's I believe) it's the big orange one from diesel power. Probably woulda been cheaper to buy that than build one.

He was not on 40 too... 37's.
Bigrpower has the best set up yet to go fast with a 7.3, twins, B codes, Oil, and took his lift out. IF you want to go fast, a lift and tires is not in the equasion... |

Don't think I'm the one interested in the lifted manual Ford, I'm just making sure I wasn't too off base when I was armchair racing an obnoxious poser the other day.
