2001 f250 Conversion using 2008 cummins crd
Hi ladys n gents
From down under in sunny Australia im in the process of undergoing a engine conversion on my 2001 f250 it current runs a mwm 6.07tca 4.2L 6 cyl and zf5 but wanting to convert to cummins power I have lined up a 2008 dodge ram 2500 with the 5.9 cummins common rail and 6 speed manual and plan on using this as the new heart. ive got an entire donor vehicle with 28000kms on it ive been reading a few different post on the net about the swap in regards to wiring etc. What are your thoughts to the painless wiring kit for this conversion? ive played around with diesels but nothing to this extent, what other things will I need lift pump setup? also what diffs come in those rams? my current f250 runs dana 70 rear 60 front any help would be greatly appreciated billy |
Hi Billy I take it your going to use the 6 speed ?
you don't really need that much to get it to run really only 4 wires where did you get the ram from |
