Runs fine for an hour or two...then..

Hey guys I need some help. My truck was having typical cps symptoms. I replaced the sensor and then things started getting weird. Now, it can be idling, running on the highway, etc etc, and just die like a cam sensor failure, except everything electric (dash, clock, lights) won't work and the key acts like it does nothing. Let it sit for 2 or so minutes it starts right up......any ideas?

Check the battery connections...

That was the first thing I checked. No corrosion and they Are all tight...but idk about grounds, and where the power cables go etc etc. it's amazing I can do hpops, turbos, injectors, but this
Little stuff dumbfounds me

Bump-after work I came home to mess with the truck. Went to start it up, cranked for maybe 5 or 6 seconds and then I lost everything again. This time I heard a clicking noise under the dash. Pulled the fuse panel off and I could hear the relay in the top right corner (in the box under the dash, not the hood) clicking its mind out. It's a part number f57b-14b192-aa8003a32d. Anyone have any ideas? I'd really appreciate help.

Do you have an amp or volts gauge? It almost sounds like your batterys are dead/low or your alt is not working...

There is a ground on the passanger fire wall, one behind the motor, one under the motor...

Had one bad ground, and a few bad fuses. Replaced them all and the truck would crank but not start (at least now I had something to work with) and when it would start it would run a few seconds and die. Beings I just replaced the cps (looks like in vein) I unplugged the icp sensor. Ran like a champ. So it's looking like I have to replace that too. I just wonder if there was a voltage spike or something that could have done all this. Sure is weird all this happening at once.

Odd that the ICP sensor is keeping it from running... Have you driven it since you unplugged the ICP?

Sounds to me like you have a ground issue somewhere, I dont think there is a spike issue.

Drives with the icp unplugged. Plugged it up and it surges at idle or won't run at all for more than 3 or 4 seconds

I managed to snag a known good icp sensor from work this morning. I guess I'll try this and pray that it helps. I don't wanna go chasing at a wiring war really badly. Would a fried uvch cause one to just stop running intermittentenly?
What's got me confused it how it runs exactly normal with the icp sensor unplugged.

update-Finally got the truck running long enough to get it inside the shop at home and take a look at what was going on. I plugged the icp sensor in and it seemed to run fine..but then it died again. So I unplugged it...and it started up but ran very rough...so I was looking around the engine for a exposed wire or something and I gently touched the uvch and it just slid off...the connector was broken. Any chance at all it could have been vibrating on and off while driving giving me my cps-like symptoms?
