egts temp
what should my 97 ford f350 be running for egts and what is too high i was thinking about butting rosewood stage 2 injectors in it but not a intercooler right away thanks in advance

1250 for extended periods of time is not good...
stage 2's without an intercooler will work as long as you don't tow anything... If you are towing, turn the chip down to stock and drive while watching the egts... |
ok thank you

ok so than u cant go over 1250 but i can run at that temp and it wont hurt anything
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- do u guys know where i can get a cheap intercooler for my truck that i don't have to mod my truck to much |
Look for a superduty intercooler... If you can fabricate a bit its not a hard install...
You can go over 1250* for short periods of time, I have seen 1800* before, just dont do it every day or after a long hard pull. |
Thanks for the correction Joe... I meant to say sustained but missed it...
junk yard for the intercooler... |
with stg. 2 rosewoods, d-66, no innercooler. I run about 1100-1150 towing my 5,600 lb boat. thats on a 70 hp tow tune. Not to say your truck will do the exact same, but thats where i'm at.:tu:
|
^^ that's not to bad. pulling about 15K at 75 MPH with my 99 on a 65 HP tow tune i'm at 1,000 ish.
|
and I really don't expect to go much lower than about 900-950 when I do install an IC. I also hit cruise when towing and drive like a grandma.:tttt:
