1997 7.3 has absolutly no power

I have a 97 7.3 that has no power what-so-ever. I just replaced the turbo, with a remanufactured tp-38. I have replaced the fuel filter, cleaned the little screen on the drivers side of the fuel bowl. I have checked all the injectors by unplugging them while it is running. I replaced the lift pump, and still it has no power. It doesnt smoke at all hardly, and idles fine.

I would really really appriciate any help on this issue.

Sounds like a stock powerstroke...

Ya, but it used to have alot more power, and i dont just want to go and chip it, if it aint getting enought fuel flow or somethin.

Probably a weak hpop or a bad injector.

Factory injectors? Factory HPOP?

Have you done a compression test?

Bob_barbeque 11-27-2011 11:18 PM

The injectors were replaced, but i cant tell how long ago. The HPOP is factory as far as I can tell. No I havent done a compression test.

There is no way to know to know that without testing them.
