[QUOTE=cableneff;718799]yes the oil in the truck is at the correct level, hpop is full, i just put a new icp sensor on the truck and i've just tried to start it unpluged and nothing.. Note..i can hear the injectors opening after a few seconds which i feel is a good sign because that means the hpop is building pressure, checked for smoke at the stack while turning engine over, no smoke... just loosened fuel line going to pass side head and got fuel, is there some way the injectors are not getting the fuel to them? could an o-ring fail and cause this problem...i havent noticed any change in the oil level since ive changed it..

I am confused about how you "hear the injectors opening"... I didn't know you could do that. Since I started following this thread I have had the nagging feeling that it is the valve covers/harnesses.

Twin Boys what i mean is i hear a electric click on each cylinder when turning it over and i now believe is the electric silenoid.

Still thinking valve cover harnesses. Mine would pass a buzz test, but the connections were not good enough to properly operate the injectors and gave the same no start condition. This is a common problem.

twinboys, is it possible that both gaskets failed at the same time, i believe changing the gaskets would be a better option first than the HPOP, i will be home on monday and will put a new set on and let you guys know, my fingers are crossed, hate to throw money at a blind problem but as you said it is a common problem, and its happened to several of my friends.. thanks for the post

I'm not sure this is the problem, I'm just throwin' it out there. It could be the external harness, it could be the gasket, or it could be the internal harness. I could be completely wrong. I was in the same spot and decided to replace it all for completeness and peace of mind.

OK GUYS I GOT THE TRUCK RUNNING, TURNS OUT IT WAS THE HPOP, I FOUND ONE AT A LOCAL WRECKING YARD AND ALSO DID AN O-RING JOB ON THE INJECTORS, ONLY TOOK A FEW TURNS AND IT BUSTED OFF, THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT INPUT..

I'm also experiencing this same issue?
Thanks for all the great info as well, Do you know if it was your HPOP, or O rings that were the culprit?
