Had the fluid flushed and the filter changed along with the throttle position sensor. Trans seems fine for now. No more slippage. It shifts firm from 1-2 and has the feeling of having a shift kit. I'll keep driving it and hope that everything is good!:tu:

Make sure your OD cancel switch works by pushing the shift lever button. Make sure the yellow light on the lever is working and lights up. Also that the check engine dash light works. A bad throttle position sensor should have set a code flashing the light(s). E4od's aren't known for hard/firm shifts. (if it's a stock E4od) Failure mode causes hard shifting, burnt fluid and tranny failure if you continue to drive daily in it. If the lights are not working, the driver will not know there's a problem except it shifts hard all of a sudden.

We had 1 suspected TPS that really was a bad connection at the pcm connector. Truck wouldn't move period. It also wouldn't accelerate above idle speed.

Good luck, check new fluid remains un-burnt. :tu:

All the lights work. When I drove it home i check to see if it would kick out of overdive. Switch works fine. No flashing lights. Had a stored code in the computer of a tps. I'll keep an eye on everything.
