If that were true, me and everyone else who bought an 03 Super Duty and Excursion with a 6.0 would have had a motor swap. Just because you read it on the internet doesn't make it true. Unless, of course, it is about Chuck Norris, then it's the gospel.

all i know is i was at the plant and they have 7500 2011 diesel trucks there and they all are going to have the bad motors changed out before they can be sold.

seems you ford guys are just hard headed. go to the plant and see for your self. this was just a heads up for anyone who was waiting for there new truck. hopefully for them they will just start pumping out the new ones instead of making you wait for the ones to get fixed. take it anyway you want.

In case you didin't figure it out yet, you're being mocked here for a lack of proof. After the beating Ford took in the press, and from rumor mongers like yourself, about the 6.0L I find your unsupported claims exactly that, rumor.:td: I've got proof in my driveway that the 6.0 is a fine piece. Mine is a March 03 also, the dreaded "early" 6.0.

thanks Karls03... i know i could not pull out a camera or record the guy i was talking to... i would lose my job and the company i work for would lose the contract they have with ford... i had an 04 with the 6.0 and i know what i went through with it. after i sold it i went to dodge. ford just did me wrong and i will not buy there trucks any more. i had a 91 e350 a 97 e450 99-f350, 02-f350, 04-f350 i was a ford guy till they wouldn't back the junk they sold me. to all the ford guys i'm saying this nicely good luck...

There are youtube videos of tuned 6.7's already out. Spartan was test driving one with the EGR delted, DPF gone, and urea injection gone. KEM has some vids of one blowing a little black smoke already. Rudy from DPF deletes is already flogging his stocker on the dragstrip. Looks good so far, but only time will tell.

There are also numerous threads on the Ford forums of peoples new 6.7's sitting in their driveways. The trucks are out and being sold and delivered to customers. Doesn't sound like a "no-run" truck to me.

You just dont like the new 6.7l Powerstroke because it is better than the 6.7L and 5.9L cummins:alone2::playing: :yeah: :humm: :humm:

Are you a Tier 1 supplier, a contractor, etc?

There is no lot hold on Super Duty vehicles currently on any of the Ford Motor Company order status reports.

It's possible you have information way ahead of schedule.

I won't doubt you but you must understand posting something like that with zero proof amounts to hearsay, which gets you no place in a real court, and gets you drawn, quartered, tarred, feathered, photoshopped into a transexual stripper, and keelhauled in internet court.

I work for a tier 1 supplier of all exhaust systems for the ford diesel engine. and all F series fords. The only issues that i know ford has had was water pumps from a certain supplier that are not meeting specs and also some factory hitch issues that ford is currently working to solve. Production has slowed for us many of the diesel departments are down the rest of this week until production issues are solved.

i was just trying to give everyone that was waiting on there new truck a heads up. i wasn't trying to bash ford. its ok last time i was there they got half the trucks done with the new motors. they did get a lot of truck out to the dealers as the new motors came in. i just feel bad for some of the first truck orders they must have had to wait longer then they should have to get there new trucks.

ya i know a guy who bought and paid for his awhile ago and the dealer kept telling him that he would get his truck next week and he still doesnt have it yet

i've also heard that the 6.7 stroke is a cummins design built by ford????
