The Edge CTS seems to be the hot ticket now Karl. There are a few options out there though. The Scangauge 2 seems to be decent for an inexpensive option.

$600+ for an Edge CTS monitor :ouch: That's pretty high for just a monitor! I'd buy individual gauges before I gave Edge that kind of money. Yes, I am still booty hurt about my Edge taking a HUGE dump on my truck. I'll look more into Scangauge 2, but it looks a little too basic.

I have an '06' that I maintained religiously since I bought it.
I was very worried about having a clogged oil cooler, so I flushed the system with both Restore (from Cummins) and VC-9 (from Ford) at about 60,000 miles. I then replaced my oil cooler at 80,000 miles. I cut open the old oil cooler and it WAS NOT clogged!

Since yours is an '07', your probably waiting for the warranty to expire before removing the Gold Coolant. This is what I did (waited for the warranty to expire). I had a high pressure oil system failure (the STC fitting) not 1 month after the warranty expired (this is not related to the cooling system in any way). So, that's why I needed to tear it down. I replaced the oil cooler because I had it apart...I didn't want to tear into it yet again, if it failed for another reason.

I would recommend you flush it with restore and VC-9 now (just put the gold coolant back in). This way, if you have a problem with the oil cooler you can get it replaced under warranty.

Note - I only plugged it in about 10 times in 80,000 miles.....reason why I mention this...some have said that the gold coolant clogs the oil cooler when it is plugged in a lot.
If you don't plug it in a lot, like me, you will probably have the same results that I did.....no clogged oil cooler and success with a thorough flush.

Just my opinion.

I'm at 93k miles, blown headgaskets 3x, never blown an EGR cooler (despite having one replaced under warranty) and my ECT and EOT temps are within 3-7 degrees of each other on original oil cooler. I bought a new one anyways for when the cab comes off for studs etc. The oil cooler rebuild kits run just a hair over $200...
