Good question. I have a fuel pressure gauge in my truck so when I turn the key I can watch the pressure goes up. It will bleed back off with those "check valves" in there anyways so it's kind of pointless. If it tells you anything with my vegistroke, it needs check valves in the front of the heads and they use new ones, not the Ford ones, since they don't actually work. I ran with the ebay banjo bolts all summer long, never had any issues. Just turned the key and went.

That's interesting. I thought mine idled smoother, but it was probably all in my head. Like I said before, certainly wont hurt a thing putting them in. I think it's worth the small investment of money and time. We can't get anything else this cheap for these trucks!:c:

I'm almost certain a before and after dyno would show it holding power for longer with the new bolts. Only took me about an hour to complete the whole install, With my engine still hot :ouch: And yes your right, These things are expensive, but boy are they fun. A guy asked me the other day "why don't you sell your truck and get a car or something and have less payments?" I said " I can't stop :scare2: It's too much fun!!!!" lol

Nothing like a big truck beating a spots car.
