Blue Smoke
i noticed the other day that my 05 f-350 was puffing a bluish gray smoke whenever i take off. its not a lot but noticiable. its seems to lightn up when the truck get warmed up any ideas????:humm:

Usually blue smoke is oil related. Check all fluid levels and report back.
Does the truck run OK when cold? |
i checked them the other day oil was a little low. put some in still the same. it runs the same as it always has. cant tell any difference other than the smoke.

Check engine lamp on, by chance? Truck run okay otherwise?
Air filter OK? If there's inlet restriction it will pull the seals out of the turbo. |
should be fine got an afe stage 2. i cleaned it a few thousand miles ago.
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- and no. no engine light, it runs fine. |
TYPICALLY trucks that smoke when cold but don't once it warms up have some ratty injectors in them - however, they will also run like a total can of garbage while cold.
Truck still got warranty? |
lol no. it doesnt seem to run any different. warranty was up about 2 months ago. i did have an injector replaced like 2 times tho. could egr possibly be goin again? it been replaced 3 times. id like to get a delete kit when funds are avalible. i checked for codes but none found.

An injector could have a small leak that bleeds out when the truck isnt running. Also, it could maybe be bad turbo seals. Hard to say without seein it.

yea. keep an eye on it i guess :c:
