Default 2009 swap in 2003?? How hard?

I have a 2003 f350 that has been sitting awhile it has 22x,xxx miles and has a blown head gasket. I really like this pickup and I didn't want to spend the time and $$$ to fix a head gasket on an engine that has that many miles. I have a lead on a 2009 e-series ambulance that I can get for pretty cheap that has a brand new engine. My question is how hard is it going to be to make the 2009 work? I know the icp location is different and the turbo is different, will it be relatively easy to make work?

Is the 09 a brand new 09 series engine or did the retrofit a 03 series 6.0?

If you really like your 03 spend then money and fix it. The head gaskets are relatively easy to fix. Truly from a mechanics standpoint I'd tell you to fix the 03 and bulletproof it and keep on truckin. No since on buying an ambulance if you don't need it for work or something else.

I've never swapped an ambulance 6.0 into a truck. Nor the other way around so I couldn't tell you one way or the other but that is a helluva deal.
