I had ford dealer look at it and they agreed and said an SCT tuner will clear the code and the light won't come back on. I hate to spend $500+ on an SCT to find out this is not true. Can anyone tell me if the SCT will handle this when the Hyperteck won't???

nevermind. I think i fixed it.

SCT Tuner with custom tunes x 1,000.
There's a reason everyone swears by them.
The SCT is easy on your transmission as well which is something some other tuners don't do.
Some very common tunes are from innovate diesel and gearhead tunes.

If you're trying to save a penny, search for a week or two and you can find a really good deal on an unlocked and unmarried SCT 3000 tuner. I've seen them sell for as cheap as $100. Then go spend you about $150-200 on 3 tunes from one of these companies and you'll be set for $250-300 with a great programmer and a good tow/economy/street or race tune.
