Are you sure your batteries are good?
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- They may turn it over but that in no way means that are up for the load |
New batts a month ago

Have you looked into your voltage regulator? Also it's pretty common that a "new" alternator is bad out of the box, but I'd check the regulator before swapping it out once again :humm:

my Regulator will CHIT on me every year about 2-3 weeks in to the cold weather ... with out fail for the last 5Yrs. :humm: ... not entirely sure why though ... but i have an extra all the time ... alt has gone 2 times in 5 yrs .... 1 vac pump in 5 yrs too ....

looks like some people just get all the luck

not sure wear the regulator is located ?
|
pass side just behind the starter realay thats on inner fender .... should be on the fender l;iner ... like on top ... lil crome box .. bot 3"X1" or so

So you have an internal voltage regulator? I'd look at my battery cables, grounds and any fusible links between the alternator and the batteries as well. On my truck if I so much as look at my terminals the wrong way it will short out my battery and cause it to drain within the blink of an eye :td: it's also an 8 year old battery :c:
