88 350 brake lights
So the genius before me decided to rewire the brake light trigger for a trailer brake controller and almost set it on fire. I bought a new trigger and rewired it but when I put the fuse in the panel that is supposed to be factory wired it still doesn't work! Any ideas?

are you getting 12volts at the fuse?
|
something is majorly screwie here .... its a real simple system .... somewhere along the line you loosing your break signal to thee rear .... gonna have to trace the wires, wire by wire ... i had to do the same because of a 7 way theat some idiot hacked in w/scotch locks :argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::td:...
I FKing hate those damn things..... why not just short out the wiring and try again .... not even in an emergency would i use those damn things ..... argggggg ...... |
