These are the new twins 366/587
The SC allows this truck to be daily driven without smoke or EGT issues normally associated with big turbo(s). The turbos respond as if the engine was larger. this particular set lights in the 2200 rpm range. it lights near 2700 without the blower.

WAY COOL

angelic0- 08-16-2012 10:31 PM

"Triple Turbo"...

pretty cool 8)

RAW 08-16-2012 10:37 PM

The two systems are parallel, not in series, correct? Otherwise, what;s the point of the scoop on the blower?

Turbolvr 08-17-2012 10:02 PM

Actually its kind of both.
The blower pulls air through the scoop and feeds the primary, which feeds the secondary.
When the turbos are lit, they pull extra air through the cone filter on the primary.

durango_nick 09-24-2012 03:32 PM

That is pretty awesome :) big thumbs up on breaking away from the norm and going in your own direction. looks bad@$$

If he's from Wyoming, I built the system. ;)

Tried to dyno last month but it started raining and 500hp trucks were spinning on the rollers so... not yet.

I ordered a bigger blower, so no news to report until then. Truck is still daily driven.

Bigg Redd 09-28-2012 06:48 PM

That is B A D A S S!!!:rocking: What kinds of EGT's you hitting?

angelic0- 09-28-2012 09:47 PM

This must be the best way to kill EGTs !

I want to see a video of your gauge cluster while driving under load...

AKchad 10-14-2012 12:33 AM

Is that belt supposed to slap around like that? Seems loose then tight then loose.. Just wondering.

Could you elaborate a little more? Is there some sort of check valve that lets the primary pull from the SC and the cone filter at the same time? I assume it only pulls through the filter once all of the air/pressure provided by the SC is used up?

Very cool setup.:tu:
