Tuners Outlawed?
 

Hello DB's,
I did a search om this topic and found nothing.
I spoke with a local and he said that tuners for deletes will not be sold beginning Jan 1, 2013.
Does anyone have any concrete evidence on this?

As of now all tuners that deal with EGR and DPF deletes are no longer being produced and once companies run out of stock on them they will no longer be sold. At least from what I gather.

I was told that the tuners are discontinued atm, but some of the manufacturers are working with the EPA to change this, may be back towards end of jan. Just a rumor tho!

If you don't want a DPF don't buy a truck that has one. ATS is taking the correct path on this issue. Modifying emissions systems has never been legal, ever since it started back in the 70's.

Some people just think they are above the law. :w2:
