5in straight pipe for stock truck?

Im new to this forum so please forgive me if i posted this in the wrong place... I seem the have a bad habit about doing that on forums :humm: Anyways I have been looking at straight piping my stock '02 cummins HO with 5in turbo back for awhile now but havnt quite been sure about how it will effect it. I know 5in is normally used for modded trucks but I like the sound of it over the 4in. Does anyone know how it will effect my trucks engine life and performance?

Wont hurt anything just be ready to buy ear plugs.

Engine wise it won't hurt anything. Get a system with a muffler, and a tip that will extend past the box. This will greatly reduce cab drone.

Nothin wrong with mine, it acually improved milage a little. And yes get the tip that extends past the body. mine didnt just drone, it shook the whole truck! The tip solves it.
