Instructional videos on how to "tweak" the VE injection pump,
Here's some videos I made. :D
Adjust throttle linkage- Rotate Fuel pin to deep side, AFC explained in depth- Advance timing- Enjoy Brandon |
:U:Well done, man. And welcome to DB

i do believe i used your video for a base on how to bump my timing; and i ripped the idea of the ratchet strap off of you. good work :U: just a suggestion; if you dont wanna drill the hole larger you can hook it to the mount of the air box. i think this is a little sturdier too. it didnt mess the inner side of your fender up? b/c it took a good bit of pulling to break my IP loose

Awesome Videos Brandon! Good to see you on here buddy!

i was doing bobby's throttle indexing mod and i kinda noticed my pump doesnt automatically return to idle, in fact it doesnt get any spring tension until 1/4-1/2 throttle... i think my governor spring is about as stretched out as pamela anderson :D and the throttle return springs/ bracket were AWOL... the trucks been in my family since they bought it in 89 and they've never modded anything... infact they've always complained it was nutless from day one

thanks for the vid. i just had to replace the fan clutch so i rotatd the fuel pin because i ws bored. i didnt turn the star wheel thing though is that ok? i coudnt remeber how far i thought 1.5 turns but it seemed like alot. i played with the smoke screw but that doesnt do much at all.
