Colorado Dyno !
 

I have confirmed with GAM, Holland Ct Diesel will be hosting a Dyno Day April 18Th 2009 at Greeley Automotive and Machine. This is being sponsored by Holland Court Diesel Performance and FNS Transmission. We have to have a minimum of 23 trucks prepaid to secure the dyno a week in advance. The cost to run on the dyno is $65.00 and you get 3 pulls. You can pay by sending us a check or give us a call with a credit card. If we have over 30 trucks we will provide lunch, and do some prizes. To cancel you have to contact us two weeks in advance for a refund. Let me know if you have any questions.

I have lived in Loma my whole life. Its right next to Fruita if u didn't know. So I shoped in fruita.

Hey Justin. Sorry can't PM you back as I'm at 8, er nine posts now lol. I think I'm 15th in line is what they told me. Be cool if you came down!! Let me know. Have you heard of that meeting down at Hooters friday night? I may head down there too but not quite sure yet as this week is pretty busy.

When I called they said I was fifteenth. That was a week ago. Over on cumminsforum it looks like maybe 14 people are coming. I think most are just going to sign up the day of the event though so I really couldn't tell ya. I think I convinced my cummins buddy to run and maybe his friend with a Duramax I just tuned last night.

I belive this dyno is actually easier on your trans than normal driving. Less load. But I could be wrong. I've only dynoed once but it was at PFI

well if you say so :5: i might just have to then hopefully 4th hold up

4th should be alright, its 5th you have to worry about. you could tune your tcm to not go into 5:w2:

Or could i just use efi to lock it in fourth :U:

Well it was snow now is pathetic rain. It sounds like its still going down regardless. I already paid. A little rain or snow ain't gonna scare me away!!

yeah i think i showed up just at the end of your runs. I just need a trans so i can hold those numbers on the street. I was pretty happy though considering it kept trying to shift into 5th obviously i screwed something up in the tune :humm:

what tune was it?

it was my trans tune I mixed up the tow/haul cells with the 4lo :argh:

did it shift the trans into 4th at any speed when you put it in h/t mode? and keep it there?

yeah it did, i didn't even think of that when i attempted it. I just changed it to never shift into 5th

cool deal. ill load that tune when i get bored and want to lug the hell out of my truck
