1990 12 valve p pump conversion.
Ive been doing a lot of searching about the p pump conversion. I havent found anything about the 94-98 injectors working in the 1990 head. Also, wondering if the stock power steering pump and vacuum pump off the 90 will bolt up to the 94-98 timing gear housing. Those are the main questions i have about it right now. Not sure what year of P7100 pump i have, but i believe its the 180hp pump. I was told 1997. The last three numbers on the pump in the serial number are 911. I also have the injectors, fuel lines, pump to block bracket, pump gear, return lines. I still need the timing gear housing and cover, anything else? Thanks for any help at all!

the injectors will work you just have to use the copper washer/sleeve and have the pop pressure changed. the ps and vac pump will bolt up fine. yes you have a 180 pump from a 96-98 auto trans truck if it is a 911 pump. sounds like your in good shape just find you a housing with the tin cover

Would i be better off trying to find a head from a 94-98? I see the non i/c engine is 9mm and the i/c is 7mm, so you have to run spacers. Does anyone make an injector nozzle for the 94-98 to put on the 90 injectors. I would really like to upgrade the injectors also, but wondering if it would be easier to just switch out the head? Thanks

how about just having your 9mm injectors set to ppump pop pressure? also yes there are plenty of 9mm nozzles that you can get in any hole size you want. Running the copper sleeve isnt a big deal tho.

I will check into it, im gonna upgrade them im sure, just wasnt sure whats easiest.

you could just send them in and have some 100hp 9mm nozzles put on them and have them popped...easy
|
Is there a certain place you recommend to send them to?

Also, will i have to change the trans adapter from the 1990 to run the NV4500 trans?
