Ok so now my tach isn't working on my truck and ive been screwing around with it for a good week now ive got the right wire that I need since mine was a gasser it is the tan/yellow coming out of the firewall I grounded the other wire to the block. I basically did a frame off resto as well so i had everything off i put the grounds that were in the wiring harness back in the same spot ground the the paint off as i did for new grounds and I'm still not getting a signal i need help

I had to set mine to .018 to make it work I am using the cam sensor for a pickup

I used one from a 97 explorer it is the same as my 99 v10 here are some pics of how I mounted mine I think you need more senses I only needed 4

Yea ive got a 4 pulse tach ring so basically a v10 cam sensor will work because i ground the one wire right to a battery and still didn't work ive got a month to finish my build and these Damn lil probablems keep coming up

Deck60 i owe you a lot! thanks for the help i finally got my tach to work made a little brack connected the wires and away the tach went works perfect i can taste the end with my project now thanks again!!
