HELP CUMMINS STARTER NOT MATTING UP
 

I have a 91.5 Cummins with an adapter plate of a 94 -98 dodge with a cummins and a nv4500. I m trying to use the starter out of the 91 and the noise of the starer is hitting the bell housing when it trys to kick in :argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh:

Not sure but NV may have a specific starter, I'd go on one of the parts sites and check it out. :c:

:argh::argh::argh:the diff is they are timed and the center of the gear is not the center of the the hole in the adapter plate :argh::argh::argh: why could they not make them all the same:argh::argh::argh:
