I'd like a 2nd shot at an early-90's Pathfinder. 4x4, of course, but, with the new 3.2L inline 6 (300hp/500tq) that's going into the HumVee's replacement vehicle. 6-speed manual, 2-speed t-case, locking diffs @ both ends. I presume it's multi-fuel capable, from jet-A all the way to used motor oil.

Or maybe a 60's-70's era Toyota FJ 60 with internals as described.

Or a Bronco/Blazer/RamCharger with a 6BT, D-60/D-80, NV4500/NP205 twinstick. ARBs at both ends.

My 2004 F250 crewcab 4x4 Lariat (4" lift with 35 x12s)with a 5.9 Cummins in it. Or, if we're talking "fantasy land" my truck with a magical 6.0 that is reliable and gets 24 mpg when it's bag driven.:w2:

The one I just built

I would say after I get my gear vendors in and an exhaust brake, a Dana 60 up front then paint this will be all the truck I ever want,, I pulled Donner summit west bound at 70 plus only using around 4 lbs boost in 5th gear the other day and had all kinds of extra power ( only had about 1500 lbs in bed )
