10 Attachment(s)
I am building a 4bt to be transplanted into a jeep tj
Engine specs: 105 hp @2500 265 tq @ 1600 Ve injection pump Build specs: 17.5 comp pistons with ceramic coat 40 hp injectors from acd engines stage 1 camshaft from acd stage 1 fuel pin 3200 gov spring he341 turbo with a 9cm housing modified common rail exhaust manifold |
That's a pretty popular swap seems that 4bt is more popular than a small block anymore. Are you building a swamp buggy or a rock crawler or just all around play toy?
The engine looks nice. make sure to send pictures as you go!! cool stuff :rocking: |

Whats the difference in a CJ and a TJ jeep is a Tj like a Cherokee?
I can tell you take good care of your equipment do you make custom fabrications for sale? That fuel cover would sell like hot cakes imagine people could even chrome that.:rocking: |
If there is interest I will make and sell them, all the pieces for my conversion will be available as well
|
If you want you could make a thread in this link
Basement Enterprises - Diesel Bombers put some pictures of what you build and maybe someone will buy one. :tu: |

I like it!! some fine engineering.
Hey can you post the link where you bought those elbows from? Someone was asking about those the other day. There used to be a thread on here about it but IDK where it is. Thanks |
Here is a link to the mount I made for the turbo
http://forum.longevity-inc.com/showt...in-turbo-mount |
The jku spring idea did not work as well as would have liked l, but no loss the springs were free l, but now I have 4" lift springs inbound for a 1978-79 bronco from jeff's bronco grave yard they are 20" un-installed and have a 410 lb per inch coil should work with the added 300 lbs

Got the flywheel back from the machine shop and went to work on the clutch, I sourced a new pilot bearing from the local bearing supply but the minor diameter is 1mm to large so I made a bushing and pressed it into the bearing and has a good slip fit over the input shaft
