1st gen 12v p pump conversion questions
I'm p pumping a 1st gen engine and I'm wondering can I use 2nd gen 12v injectors in the 1st gen and will there any difference if I did that

I've been considering p pumping my 93. What's the benefit of p pump over my stock ve?

More reliable you can get good performance out of it as well as mpg's that's just a little of what it does

Ok. I found one off a guy for $300. Needs new governor springs. Is there anything else I need besides the gear to do the conversion? I'm going to put a fass fuel system on so I won't be needing a new lift pump.

IIRC, and I could be wrong, the injectors' ports were different diameters and thread-pitches. 2nd-gen injectors might not go into a 1st-gen block at all. THAT BEING SAID, (and, IF it's true) you could probably still use 1st-gen injectors, but with new nozzles that duplicate the 2nd-gen spray/delivery/pop-off pressures
