if your using a rotory ve or a p-pumped motor with a nv4500 you dont need any computer..... just cranking hot and key on... for the starter and fuel shut off

But what bout the lights and everything else on the truck? Is that just run off of the fuse box? Or and I get rid of the entire wire harness and just leave fuse box?

Keep stock Chevy fuse box and electronics, just tap 12volt sources needed for 12v...

use your stock temp oil press senders no sure of he tach for that truck the superduty I do know

now remember the oil pressure sender is a 7 lb trigger it will read in the middle if you are over 7lbs pressure you also need a manual oil press gauge

if you are using a 12v ve or p pump you need 12v the p pump used 2 12v wires a pull hold wire-+f4 the nv4500 has only one wire to it and that is for the reverse lights

I have done a couple conversions, while the above is true an oil pressure reading is oil pressure right?... If you are going analog then might as well do a pillar with boost and egt, there cheaper in kits.. If your looking to make this thing an easy swap, use stock Chevy sensors and bushings from ace hardware to adapt the Chevy sensors. They are expensive, but would also recommend head studs, so anything you upgrade later, you will have no fears

a ford sensor is different if you have at least 7psi it will read in the middle of the gauge

So I was lookin at the transmission and was curious bout it and typed the casting numbers into computer and came up the transmission is out of a Chevy but it is the nv4500, does anyone know if the input shaft is the same as the dodge input shaft?? Or do I need to buy new input shaft?
