2003 6.0 powerstroke to 93 12v powersteering and breaks help!!!!
 

i put a 93 12v and a nv4500 in my 03 superduty replacing the 6.0... i got the motor in running and everything but when i try to fill the ford reservoir up to the full line it drain down to the dodge powersteering pump and leaks out of the cap. and i have no power breaks or power steering!! i put the supply line from the pump to the hydrobooster and a return from the reservoir back to the pump... any help would be greatly appreciated guys! she will need to haul my 44' enclosed gooseneck in a couple weeks :tu::tu:

You have to use the dodge pump reservoir in order for it to work. Take the ford tank out completely. Tee the return line from the hydro boost and power steering pump together and run that into the return line of the doge tank which is mounted on the pump. Then you have to take the dodge supply line from the pump and mate it with the supple line of the hydro-boost i just took the two hose to our Case Ih dealer and they spliced them together. Might take a few fills of the tank to get the system full of fluid but mine has worked for 9 months flawlessly. I can get some pictures in the light if you need them

dodge made 2 different trucks your 93 I think you had a vacuum brake system on the donor truck you need a newer generation power steering pump I know my 98 donor was a hydroboost I have a 92 dodge farm truck and it runs vacuum brakes I think you need a pump from a hydroboost it should have 2 return lines in it and the pump displacement is also bigger

My 89 donor was also vacuum brakes and the stock power steering pump has plenty of flow

so just delete my ford reservoir and t off the return to the power steering box?
