I have the same idea as you, putting a 73-80 chevy body on a 94-02 dodge frame. It seems that everyone just puts the drivetrain into the chevy frame, and I'm not sure why. The wheelbases are only three inches different (dodge is longer), but I know I will have issues getting all the coolers to fit up front. I'm thinking with a two inch body lift, some creative thinking for the core support, and some custom body mounts it is very possible. I won't have time to dig into mine for a couple years yet, but I hope someone who has done it will pipe in, because I would like to see the results, and the problems they ran into. I'm not interested in using the chevy frame at all, since I don't like the front leaf springs on these pickups, I'd rather have the Dodge stuff, and fabricating body mounts isn't that hard; it's just getting the wheel openings to look right with the dodge frame :s:
