injectors injectors injectors but a return flow test would say for sure
|
what he said, but you're gonna have to take it somewhere, most diesel shops don't care what color the fuel is, dealers might, even the ones around here don't care
|
yeah thats wat i have been thinking... : / thanx man : )
|
any idea on wat kinda fitting i could get at lowes or some place to cap on injector lines to isolate which ones leak
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- nvm im just gonna replace all them stupid things :"( |
Sorry to hear that. Had to do the same thing last spring, though my MUCH thinner wallet did help with my back problems! On a serious note, when you get the new sticks installed, make sure you run at least a 5-micron filter. A 2-micron is still much preferred, but to my knowledge, no one makes a 2-micron that will fit in the stock filter canister. Baldwin make a 5-micron that will though (part number pf7977) . The stock Cummins/Fleetguard is a 7-micron unit, which just isn't enough.

if you start it up and let it idle take a 3/4 wrench and crack injector lines on the rail they are a pain in the ass to do at the head. whichever one doesnt change the sound of the engine is the bad one try that

---AutoMerged DoublePost--- btw if your not too far down in LA if you wanted to run it up here (northern arkansas) we could do the return flow test for ya and we dont care what color fuel is in it |
