First off, don't use ether on these trucks. You are asking for trouble by doing that...

In the morning or after it sits for a good period of time, Check the level of oil in the HPOP.. Should be within a 1/2" of the top.

just checked its empty. now what?

95powersmoker would know better than me but i believe there's o rings need replacing in it

I think the HPOP drain can either be caused by bad HPOP O-rings or an IPR issue...

would an ipr make it drain while its off though? that's why i'm leanin towards the drain

The part that I'm a little worried about is that it won't restart when hot... Possibly a failing LPOP not being able to keep oil in the HPOP Res...

If it was a true drain from failing o-rings, it would only drain when sitting for a long while.

my friends truck has had a similar problem and it ended up being the controller that does something with the oil pressure and the injectors, it was bad. after it was replaced it worked fine.

ya he had a problem with one of those before also but his truck was a 02 psd and his computer was bad. it was a guess weather it would start or not. sometimes he had to let it sit for 15 min then try it again.
