i looked it up on alldata just to triple check and its going in the right way. it cant even go in the opposite way otherwise it would hit the thermostat housing elbow so it can only go in one way
|
Wonder if your water pump is at fault.

the waterpumps in these are a 1 to 1 ratio. its just a shaft that the pulley spins. so unless its broken off, it really couldnt be bad

hmmm. you got me stumped!. :humm:

i wonder if theres an air pocket in the system?

but just to be sure i let it get all the air out without loosing all the coolant and putting the thermostat back in and the water was right there when i put it back together |
Just a silly question, when you put the belt on any chance the water pump got routed wrong and is running backwards? ALso, do you have a laser temp gun? You could have a bad reference or sensor thats off a bit and its not getting hot enough to open the t stat even though the dash indicates its hot. Temp the thermostat housing while its warming up.
