:howdy::hi:
My experience with the CR engines has been that if the truck won't start, it's almost always an injector issue. Has been with me at any rate. Changed more than 10 injectors on the '05 to date... :ouch:
Hope the link provided by ArizonaRedneck is of assistance.

Explain by what was leaking? Also did the connector tubes get properly seated and torqued down correctly?

Fatboy's Cummins 01-25-2010 07:34 PM

Seated yes torqed no what's the torque value ? We replaced 2 and 3 do u have to tighten the tube before you tightn the injector ? Thanks for all your help

Hows your fuel or rail pressure?

Red_Rattler 01-25-2010 08:06 PM

When u first install the injector you tighten it down to 44 inch pounds then back off the bolts to seat it, then install the connector tubes balls up and tighten it to 11 ft lbs. Then tighten the injector to 89 inch lbs then retorque the tubes to 37 ftlbs. Then when putting the lines back on use a wrench on the tube and line so you don't effect the torque on the tube. Also did you inspect the tubes while they were out for and deforms or defects? Cummins suggests replacing them when u replace the injector but it's not nessecery. Hope this helps
