P0192-FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR
VOLTAGE TOO LOW Possible causes: OTHER DTC’S FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR (F855) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT SHORTED TO (F855) RETURN CIRCUIT (K181) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO (F855) RETURN CIRCUIT (K181) SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN (F855) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT OPEN (K181) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND (F855) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND ECM INTERMITTENT CONDITION |
Could be a bad sensor or it could be a bad/shorted harness.

I will let you know Monday how mine turns out. I just had the same code problem yesterday and ended up having AAA tow it in to the dealership today. Good luck with yours!!

T:argh:hank god for my old 1990 12 valve all she needs is 12 volts to the fuel pump and a lot of diesel. I do miss the nice ride of the 04. I'll check wires in the daylight.
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- What kind of pressure should i have on the fuel filter. I clamped a 1/4" 60 lb. gauge on the drain line and opened the valve, turned the key on and got 9lbs. of press. Is that enough?:humm: |
yes that is enuff i have a stock lift pump and only got 6 psi at idle

I had the P0192 code, took my truck in to dealer on Saturday.
Got it back today. :U: They had to replace the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor, $573.00 item from the dealer. Mine was still under warranty. :c: |
