loud engine noise
 

6.2 diesel with 183m all of a sudden it started making a bang,bang,bang, and then no powere. no change in exhaust color.oil pressur 40psi, just a constant and even banging noise. Sounds like a spun main or rod bearing. Busted piston would cause massive amounts of smoke. Bad injector will cause some smoke, but you would still have power. 17 years on an engine, that's pretty good. :U:
