If I'm going to overhaul my 98 12v cummins motor what piston should I run in it. I'm using the truck to haul with. I know I have to bore the block.

Your starting to venture out into 12 valve land and I can't say for sure my guess would be some stock Mahle OEM pistons unless your going to do Nitrous or serious sled pulling. Check with Jkidd on here or DieselPap they can give you a better idea about what to get for a 12Valve overhaul. There are some guys who are active on the site still try 94 12valve or wpg6.5 they know the 12valve very well.

Thank u for all the help. I really like this truck. It has done a good job if it just quiet braking. It is a good truck . I'm still believing in the guys that talked me into buying a 12 v.
