was wondering if ANYONE had any ideas on what i could do to my truck possibly step by step to make it easy on wallet too ,, to my 1999 Cummins Dually w 3:55 gears AUTO , full exhaust replaced w stainless 4" from turbo out to dual 6" stacks (no muffler currently although may put one back its just Impossible to talk on phone and drive LOL ) also have an EDGE juice w Attituide monitoring my vitals stock size Goodyear Wranglers on the rims ,also an AIR DOG 160unit, n me a CRAZY DRIVER ... this truck is DEFINATELY slower than my 2002 dodge diesel that had a EDGE comp box -same thing older version but was a 2500 w 4:10 gears that was quiker off the line also had 4" exhaust out the back and air intake box ....so once again do i continue w injectors or stack my EDGE w a SMARTY or build the Trans w billet parts ?????? any comments o n BTW i DO plow SNOW n haul a 20 foot landscape trailer only about 5000-6000 pounds ALSO noticed that this truck DOES NOT smoke almost AT ALL only a bit when you start up ,, however my 2002 if you had it on level 5 and ur at idle all you did was floor it and there was a huge Black CLOUD of SMOKE behind you that was geat i miss that ,,someone told me the turbos are different from 99 to 02 thats why the 99 doesnt blow smoke is this true n what can i do to GET SMOKE HAHA

Not real sure but I think the attitude monitor is holding you back on power. I have a 99 and it will blow the smoke but that is not necesarily a good thing. The settings on the montior will actually defuel itself and while it is still cold. The comp box doesn't get all this info so it doesn't defuel.

Welcome to DB!!!

You should think about your transmission first, as this is the weak link in the driveline.

Again, Welcome to DB!:tu::hellox::tu:

Make sure the low end responsiveness settings are turned up on that edge juice. If u wanna show off on lvl 5 just turn up the low end responsiveness on that setting. Build the trans.... And a 62mm turbo would do wonders for you. It would tow nice, cool, muuuch more power, and prob low 50's boost psi. Take it easy without head studs.
