Going HAM on my 96 12v Cummins A/T
I'd like to get more out of my 12v, I've just installed my boost, pyro, and trans temp gauges. I want to grind the plate to a #100, then slide the housing forward. I also want to install a new overflow plug, is that the same as the 2095 rack Mack plug? Then delete the notorious fuel heater and replace the hose connecting to the lift pump. I just ordered the fleetguard AH19037 (bhaf) and a 3" intake horn. I eventually want to get the 3 or 4 gsk. What else can I do for now, while maintaining a low budget? I just ordered a new pressure solenoid and transducer for my tranny, it has some issues hunting gears and not locking up the t/c, even after replacing the tps and making the rod adjustments. Does anyone have any other ideas what it could be if those two parts don't fix the trans problem?

Is your trans temp light on? Mine was on my 94 when I bought it and it shifted like shit. I put a resister in the sensor plug and got a trans temp gauge and all is good now

The temp light isn't on, I plugged a high end scan tool (that reads the engine/PCM, transmission, and abs) to it and it doesn't shoot any DTCs.
