New from Alaska

Hey guys, I've been a member on both the powerstroke and the cummins forums just to ask some questions when I needed help. Athough I received lots of great help and advice from those places, They seem to be biased which is understandable. I own Fords, GM's and Dodges so I was looking for a place that accepts all. They are all great trucks for different reasons.

Let's see here... Well, I'm 16 and a junior in high school. I've worked with my dad all my life as he is a Owner Operator Truck driver. We own 6 Acres in Sterling Alaska with a 40x60 shop on it. Over the years, we have owned a fleet of Semi trucks, Equipment, and Diesel pickups. Currently, I am working for a good family friend as an aluminum fabricator/welder. I have learned amazing skills and experience all while making some green.

Sooo... Our vehicles! If I'm counting correctly, We own 27 motorized vehicles. Obsessed? You bet!

With 11 of them being Diesels, and this being a diesel forum, I will post pictures of them.

The #1 money maker - 2003 Peterbilt 379. It has a 550HP Caterpillar that is pushing 650+ HP and 2050 ft/lbs of torque. Eaton 18 Speed Trans, 40K lb rear ends with 2 Locking differentials. Currently has 780,000 miles

1991 F-350 7.3 IDI flatbed. Dad bought this brand new in 1991. Unfortunately, this was a truck with the notorious "flaking" paint and as of 22 years later, its has almost no paint left. Also has Electrolysis in cylinder 4. Will hopefully be doing a 12V cummins swap and a restoration. 50,000 miles

(unfortunately no pictures at the moment)

1990 F-350 7.3 IDI flatbed. Just an old work truck. 225,000 miles
