That's it for now. Let me know if you want / need more and I'll send ya some more. I've been carving pumpkins for years.

FYI: For those of you who don't already know, WD-40 is a great way to preserve your pumpkins. They won't last forever, but they won't shrivel up in a day or two either. That's why the ones above look shiney. I had already sprayed them down. Spray the entire pumpkin inside and out and you should get a little more than a week out of them depending on the weather. The warmer it is, the less time you'll get.

Hope you enjoy !!

HOLY COW !!! I better get carvin !

Mayfair,
why dont you carve up a DieselBombers pumpkin or two?:rocking::c::pca1:

Mayfair 10-20-2008 02:25 PM

Ok, I'll see what I can do. My friend wants a Cummins pumpkin, and someone from Dodge wants one. Perhaps I can do a DB logo pumpkin like this:

http://www.dieselbookmarks.com/sigs/gri.png

GRI 10-20-2008 02:32 PM

I still don't understand why My pics won't post and only the url page from Photoshop shows up then you have to click to open? Is there another picture hosting site that won't do this?

stkdram55 10-20-2008 03:09 PM

I've seen that pumpkin before. It turned out really good !! I knew it was going to droop though since the letters are so amall. It might have helped if you left the center section still attached to the middle part of the C.

IC Smoke 10-20-2008 05:45 PM

or If i would have taken a pic at night after I cut it out instead of waiting so long (a few days) Oh well, Ill give it another go sometime

RSWORDS 10-20-2008 05:47 PM

Are all of these from this year guys? We want to see new ones! Guess we should have said that in teh start... no penalty though...

Bobby

IC Smoke 10-20-2008 09:23 PM

The pics that I posted were from last year. I haven't even started carving yet this year as it's too early. They'd be toast by Halloween if I carved them now.

:humm: Well... I'm ALL about some pumpkin carving... So as the judge, I'm gonna have to go with carving only...

All of your pumpkins rock by the way! Wow how creative!!! Keep it up ya'll!

A lot of what I carve I carve with a jig saw or a sawzall. Basically, think outside of the box. Stop looking at the pumpkin as a pumpkin and look at it as a piece of wood and use whatever tools you would if you were carving wood, then you'll get better results.

mudn_1 10-23-2008 05:17 PM
