Duramax Flame Thrower
4 Attachment(s)
Thanks to PFrog at DP for the stack fun. :up2:
Here are some pics of my stack during flame testing. -WARNING AND DISCLAIMER- I have had alot of questions about how I did it, and I will provide more information about the parts I used if you PM me. You can see in the picture that it consists of:
2 champion RC12YC 2 Anti fouling spark plug fittings 60 psi adjustable LP regulator 12v LP lockoff solenoid - from alternative fuels 1/2 " and 3/16 " brake line a bunch of brass fitings 1/2" LP rubber hose (need to increase ignitor power) Note: the flames you see are all at idle, even with ALOT of propane the truck will blow out the flames if you hit the throttle (no oxygen) I would not recommend trying this while driving, only stopped at an idle! |
that is awsome......me wants one:choochoo:

Ya. I'm liking that too....:U:

|
I'm thinking I'm going to do this on my single since I was planning to install propane anyway for long trips. :up2:
Whit, there are tanks out there that are designed to be mounted long-ways under the bed. |
How about a little writeup on how to do this?
If you keep showing me things like this - I will need to get stacks. |
I just sent him a message asking him to do a write-up.
