its a whistler

I rode in the back of Clint Cannons Dmax at a dyno.......there was 6 lard asses in there to provede traction for the dyno run

he had twins and hit 1000 hp IIRC and did it right now...the graph went straight up

2500HeavyDuty 02-03-2008 03:23 PM

Sounds like a spaceship!

i wanna see that thing run

RodZZilla 02-03-2008 03:53 PM

I think that is Mick's truck. I know he is on the McRat board. I thought he ditched the turbo and went w/the supercharger only. I could be wrong. Either way, it is a sweet rig.

DangerousDuramax 02-03-2008 04:37 PM

Its running the stock LLY charger and Procharger blower. :)

2500HeavyDuty 02-03-2008 04:39 PM

he must have no lag at all

DangerousDuramax 02-03-2008 04:51 PM

Actually he did have problems with lag until he sorted it out with tuning.

RodZZilla 02-03-2008 05:33 PM

I would like to go for a ride in it.:U:

Benjamin 02-03-2008 05:50 PM

NukleusX 02-03-2008 07:40 PM

The charger is feeding a GT45 turbo

DangerousDuramax 02-04-2008 01:29 AM

Danny, Micky is feeding a stock LLY turbo. He has made that clear.

DangerousDuramax 02-04-2008 02:10 AM

Well I'll be damned. Mickey has recently switched to a GT45 turbo. This should get really interesting. :pca1:

2500HeavyDuty 02-04-2008 02:27 AM

Ran an 11.3 and still had more to go....I can definitely see him run in the 10's in the near future :choochoo:

DangerousDuramax 02-04-2008 02:31 AM

When Pat gets done with it Casper may have some competition. :pca1:

I'd be happy w/one or the other. Both would make me wet.

Makes me want to backhalf another truck. I love 4 Links.

Diesel-N-Dust 02-04-2008 05:42 PM

That truck is sweet.
I noticed the right-hand drive right away.

DangerousDuramax 02-04-2008 06:10 PM

Another correction, its a Vortech V4-XX Race centrifugal charger and not the Procharger. :argh:

Rod, I thought you were a guy? lol lol lol

RodZZilla 02-05-2008 05:49 PM

Premature evacuation of the swimmy fellers.
:D

SuperTurbo 02-05-2008 06:35 PM

Yea thats my truck - most of what youve heard is true. It has a Vortech V4-XX Race Super into a GT45

Supercharged_Duramax 02-05-2008 06:40 PM

Yes, this is Mick's truck. SuperTurbo here on this site. Mick on the McRat site. It's been my pleasure to work with him half way around the world to pull off this trucks tuning requirements.

P.S. there's never been a problem with lag with this set up. The problem has been worrying over too much fuel. Pegs a 60psi gauge in nothing flat, just pressing the pedal by half will pull that number off. :U:

2500HeavyDuty 02-06-2008 12:06 AM

:woot: sounds like its time for a bigger boost gauge. When are you going to the track with it for a serious run?

Supercharged_Duramax 02-06-2008 12:29 AM

It's going on the dyno next Tuesday. I know I'll be biting my nails. We're running pretty low timing since we have all the pressure we need. All this because it's still stock internals. I'll tell ya though, It will still rip the tires off a 50+. They're 18.5" wide.

lol That reminds me of the story Pat told about when he was first testing the modded HTT turbo and he was coming up an on-ramp. Got up to 70mph, punched it and the truck went sideways boiling smoke from the rear tires!!! :f:

Sea97Stroker 02-06-2008 07:42 AM

I am looking forward to seeing some dyno numbers....

It was mentioned over at DP that you guys were having lag issues. Guess ya cant believe everything you read on the internet. :)

I'm sure you know pulling 60psi isnt a problem, but adding enough fuel to keep up with the 60psi will be. If he hasnt done the internals yet then he needs to get ready to see a window without curtains on the right side of that block somewhere around the #8 cylinder. :argh:

LeadfootDuramax 02-06-2008 10:39 AM

I would love to go for a ride :)
