IIRC it is not a 85 o 85 jump. I would need to look under the hood of mine. I did it so that all of the lights come on at one time. It is currently disconnected as I am working on a mod that will allow me to turn them on and off with the flip of 2 switches.
Been out of town for a while and just have not had the umph to work on it lately. Other mods in progress taking up my time. (Prothane bushings, Russell brake lines, PPE Centrifugal oil filter, etc) |

I want my DRLs to stay on with my Low Beams. I have a 2001 Chevy Dmax. Can u not just take a diode and run it from the 87 pin in the Headlight Relay to the 87 pin in the DRL Relay?
|
Trust me, If it was that easy, we would not be going to all the bother of taking the fusebox apart.
Just my .02 |
So which wire is the DRLs? how would u wire up a DRL/ Low Beam combination?
|
:humm:i have an 05 and plan to do the jumpers with the diodes i was just wanting to make sure of what size diode to get or if it even matters

if i remember right, if you jump the 87's you can use 4001-4005 diodes from the shack |
