Rear-end lift

Hey guys, is this all I need to lift my rear end 2"?

I'm going to get the Cognito for the front and raise it 3", but I also want to lift the rear 2".

REAR 2" LIFT BLOCKS & U BOLTS_88-08 CHEVY_GMC 1500_2500 - (eBay.ca item 310118839045 end time 26-Feb-09 19:46:49 EST)

Anything I should watch out for while installing this? (drive train angles, for example)
:rocking:

Those pretty much the same thing? Just a set of extended GM u-bolts and a second set of blocks?

You will not have to worry about pinion angle with a 2" block.

They are the same thing, but it's genuine GM parts, plus it might be cheaper without needing to pay for shipping.

"second set of blocks" ??
You have no blocks right now. The springs sit directly on top of the diff. These block will give you the 2" you want.

Oh ya, and you don't need a "leveling kit" for the front. Your stock torsion bar keys are fully capable enough to lift the front end where you want it. :U:

I thought the 3/4 tons already had a set of blocks under the leaf springs, just like a 1" set or something... I could have sworn they did.. :humm:
It's true I don't NEED a levelling kit, but the Cognito one just looks like it will handle offroad situations much better than the stock configuration....that is unless anyone has a '79 Ford Dana 60 front axle they want to sell me for cheap :w2:

Not that I know of. Maybe a 3500 or 3500HD, but I've never seen them on a 2500HD in stock form.

Cool! Thanks for the tips, I'll check it out, might end up saving some $$ this way!
