I do have a question what is the fuel mileage like with the DPF trucks because once again I dont know to many people with them and everyone is trying to use that to scare me away from them.

I filled up this morning and drove 245 miles on the highway. It was crappy weather but I am averaging 17.6 mpg. Now that is driving between 65-70 and only on the highway. My mileage is not a good gauge but be careful what you read. I would imagine 15-17 would be what you can expect.

I dont think the DPF makes them a bad truck.. Its just something else to take off in the ongoing endeavor for more performance and mileage.. :U:

yea I only get 17 on the hwy in my ctd so thats not bad should still be good for getting me around planning on a lift and 35s so I know I cant expect great mileage but atleast better than its big block counter part would get. I figure if the DPF really does suck one day when the warranty expires and stuff it might go bye bye but for now a nice truck with decent power is what I need.
