probably ran the fuel lines dry, undo the black bleed screw that's on top of the filter housing a bit and press down on the primer abut a million times till fuel starts to come out the primer then shut it finger tight. then keep priming it till its hard, and start the truck.

black bleed screw is in the center of the pic. it can strip very easily, best way to keep that from happening is just to tighten it finger tight.

its best if you use a the blunt end of a screw driver instead if your thumb to prime it, it takes a long time.

Duramax doesn't run a lift pump. The CP3 draws fuel from the tank. Probably loosen the feed line on the CP3 and run the hand primer till fuel shows up.

thats whats the bleed screw is for, no need to loosen lines it might die the first start but after that itl turn right on.

i added a lift pump so when i change the FF i just turn the LP on and wait for the fuel to come flying out the bleed. no priming for me. :)

well thanks to all ya'll but i just went over to walmart this mornin and stood in the parkin lot and pressed on the primer forever.(it was cold and i was still tired.:madd:) But atleast it works now. after i pumped it forever i got in and yelled at it to work and right after i did sucker started right up:U: i definately ain't gonna let that happen again.

BTW i looked at those pictures from your fuel filter deal thread to know what to do. i like pictures more than a bunch of words...
