Don't worry about the heads or gaskets. The bolt pattern holds them just fine, it's mostly 'nay sayers' down'n the DMax and technology

I've pegged a 2000 deg. egt guage many times at the track.

mine only goes up to 1600, anything more than that i shouldn't be up there anyway.

well I maintained about 1300-1400 into a strong headwind coming out here pulling my 5ver.. I think its okay..
