Vented Tip???
Do you have to run a vented tip on the new Duramaxs, if it still has dpf filter?
|
no.... its just to prevent burns to your legs
|
YES if you dont your truck will probly light on fire and explode AND YOU WILL DIEEEEE!!!!!!!!!:se:
|
I thought the point of the vented tip was to mix clean air with the diesel smoke to make it look not as dark, for all the activists. Cheap and easy way of making it not as noticable, out of site out of mind.

NO ITS TO KEEP THE TRUCK FROM EXPLODING YOU HAVE TO GET A FLUX CAP TO FIX IT IF YOU WANT TO TAKE IT OFF:c:
the vented tip keeps the tailpipe cooler due to high temps created by regens, if you delete all the dpf/emissions then the vented tip is no longer useful, but if you go that route you no longer have a warranty |
lol sorry i was borred you can take that big whale d1ck off it doesnt do any thing

The warranty of the emissions system will only be affected. The engine, drivetrain and chassis warranty will NOT be affected.

---AutoMerged DoublePost--- What do you make of that? Not trying to be an ass just interested. Souce: Wikipedia Attachment 39093 |
Okay but running a truck with out a factory installed DPF/EGR is consider unreasonable use. It's against the law....
|
lol I would love to see someone take there triple turbo truck in to a stealer ship and get it repaired for warranty. Never going to happen whether you through out the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act or not.

So is speeding and not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign for 3 seconds. When was the last warranty denied because of that?

Why? Its just as illegal and dangerous to boot. If you remove the speed limiter and blow a tire, good luck getting warranty on that tire or your suspension!
