Pull the MAF and clean it. use spray carb cleaner to clean it. Make sure it's dry before you put it back in. Don't need a run away engine or anything :scare2:
Other than that, check for codes. There might be one set that won't turn on the CEL. |
tried it in diff positions no effect cleaned it with maf cleaner also to no effect

check ur boots for slits. mine had one didnt notice it until i removed the boost tubes.

Checked em yesterday no visable damage tightend all of then again till i was afraid of breaking them a little better now but not what it should be i think the maf is caked with k&n oil and the maf cleaner cant get it off it looks like the sensor has ash or carbon burnt on to it. i forgot to hook the maf back up and drove it for about a mile fore i noticed the CEL was on but it had a lot more power running in open loop mode with it disconnected

this is the filter pack from one of the new style plastic WIX filters had 33% life left according to the DIC any one know of a better fuel filter?

I ussualy run the AC Delco. Dont go by the DIC for filter changes. Go by the number of miles you put on. I do mine about every 5k or so...
